Maintenance is quick and easy. Simply access what’s needed from one side of the Unique Mixproof Tank Outlet. There are no adjustable components, a maintenance-friendly actuator and built-in leakage detection on all seals.
Use the Unique Mixproof Tank Outlet double seat valve with the Alfa Laval ThinkTop sensing and control units to control fluid handling into and out of the processing tank and onward to the processing line.
How does the Unique Mixproof Tank Outlet valve work
The Alfa Laval Unique Mixproof Tank Outlet is a double seat valve controlled from a remote location by means of compressed air. The valve is a normally closed (NC) valve with two independent plug seals, forming a leakage chamber. In the leakage chamber, there is only atmospheric pressure during every possible working condition. In the rare case of accidental product leakage, fluid will flow into the leakage chamber and be discharged through the leakage outlet
When the valve is open, the leakage chamber is closed. The product can then flow from the tank to the pipeline. The balanced plug is prevented from closing too The valve can be cleaned to any level (hygienic or high purity) according to the needs of the specific process. There is virtually no product spillage when operating the valve.
